Can CBD Oil Help with Erectile Dysfunction?

Tens of millions of men in America suffer from ED (erectile dysfunction). The condition may arise from psychological problems, from physical causes, or from both together. A different study, titled A naturalistic examination of the perceived effects of cannabis on negative affect, has also found that cannabis offers relief from anxiety and depression, both significant psychological causes of ED. For men who find that prescription ED medications don’t suit them, CBD may be of help.

Being overweight can contribute to an ED problem. Since CBD products, especially ones that also contain THCV (tetrahydrocannabivarin), can potentially help with obesity by suppressing appetite, over the long-term they could be of indirect help addressing the symptoms of erectile dysfunction (pubmed.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/27573936/). Broad-spectrum CBD products that contain both compounds can be of relevance. It’s important, however, to make sure that the product you buy is tested and certified at a lab to contain the ingredients listed.

There is much anecdotal evidence in favor of CBD

Anecdotally, many people who use CBD products tend to feel spontaneous, and willing to give anything to try. They often also experience greater sensitivity to touch, which tends to make sex more pleasurable and desirable.

Certainly, CBD isn’t definitively linked to overcoming ED. CBD, however, comes with none of the incidental effects of prescription drugs for ED. If ED, in your specific case, comes about as a result of psychological causes or because of obesity, you could find that CBD brings you the help you need.
